Educating the Industry
 

In addition to wedding and event planning, one of our passions is supporting the continued development professionals involved in the industry. As an instructor at TISOH - The International School of Hospitality since 2008, Michael has been one of the key instructors for the Wedding Coordination and Design class, educating many of the Las Vegas Wedding planners.  He has also been an instructor for other hospitality courses including Hotel Management, Leadership, Conference Management, and Event Planning, and Sales and Marketing.

Certification

 

In addition to the education and mentorship of new professionals, Michael has been a staunch supporter of continuing education and certification. He has been involved in both the Education and Certification Committees for the National Association of Catering and Events (NACE), assisting with speaker selection and participating as a speaker for the NACE National Experience Conference and lead Fast Track Instructor for the CPCE Certification program.  He also contributed to the Certification Workbook, revising and expanding the Event Design chapter.

Michael's latest project has been as the Editor and contributor for the Wedding Industry Professionals Association (WIPA) certification workbook and assisting in the development of the CWIP (Certified Wedding Industry Professional) program.

Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity

 

We believe in the power of education to transform people and the industry.  In addition to contributions to the education of hospitality professionals, JMT Eventology has joined with Nelandra Anselmo of True Core Business + Wellness to host training and development sessions focusing on promoting Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity.
